Ladies, don't buy this it leaves this white film on your skin that i guess is supposed to help diminish the look or circles, fine lines etc. but it just looks flaky/unatural. its pretty pricy. smells ok. i like that it has kinetin which helps speed the growth of cell renewal. so i use it on my lips as well now. after using it during the day i noticed not only did it flake but it caused eyeliner/mascara to smudge which only usually happens to me during the summer. so i only use it at night now. to be fair i did notice a SLIGHT improvement in the darkness of my undereye circles. maybe even texture too. but obv. will not repurchase i'm gunne try the vitamin c eye cream next.

I am a HUGE fan of products from The Body Shop, so I naturally had high hopes for this product, which the company promotes as having kinetin, a natural element found in plants that firms your skin etc.
Unfortunately, this product fell short, waay too short. The cream, like many other reviews seen here, does indeed flake, leaving white flakes on your undereye, its annoying because you have to pick off the flakes and then apply your makeup or whatever else.
The smell is okay, it comes in a little tub, a little pricey for the fact it leaves flakes and no visible results as of yet, but then again, I'm not planning on using it except maybe at night.
I'm going to hold on to this as a night cream but get another brand as my day eye cream.
    :]

I've been using this for almost a week, in the morning and sometimes in the evening. I'm a bit surprised at how many poor reviews this product has gotten. it has made the dark circles under my eyes a bit lighter and less puffy. it's working better than a eye cream I had been using that was twice as much, and I think it works a little better than benefit's eyecon, my favorite eye cream thus far. I don't mind it being in a little tub--if you wash your hands it's not unhygienic.
edit: haven't bought again. it's pretty average as far as eye creams go.

In winter, it is hard to apply it around the eyes easily, therefore, it might cause me a bit wrinkles. In summer, it feels greasy. I don't see it does anything to me. I would rather use the cheaper but more effective drugstore eye creams.

I dont understand the dismal reviews for this product .The only con i have about this product is that makeup does not sit very well on top of it it kinda sticks to foundation /concealer so i only use at night time.Right ,what i DO like about this product ,it tightens the under eye area immediately and has a long term affect as well,it moisturises well and does not give me millia .I reccomend this !

Unhygenic jar, is it really that hard to put creams in tubes? It was fairly moisterising but it leaves a white residue around my eyes which looks a bit like sleep, unless i properly massage it in my eye air. I wouldnt repurchase again as its nothing special and i hate the unhygenic jar.

I dont have too many experiences with eyecreams..but when I started to notice some fine lines and dark undereye circles, I decided to get an eye cream...so, I decided to get this because I have a TBS member disc. :P and the SA reccomended me with this to me..
I think this is an OK cream..When i first applied it, it stung quite a bit..for a few mins..but then it went away (this happened for like the first 3 days) after all the stinging, it did brighten the under eye circles instantly and the cream absorbed pretty well so I continued to use this, the only thing is i can only use a teensy bit (which sometimes I think isnt enough) because this stuff flakes like crazy!! (no idea why) and that is really annoying.. I guess only a small bit is actually absorbed in the skin..the rest just sits there and creates an illusion that my undereye circles are lightened. I think I'll try something else once I finish with this :)

It was an ok product not a HG for me. I was using it because I thought that I was getting a natural product which I realised that it wasn't the case that they are "natural". Also I was using it bec. last six months i got into this cruelty free thing, and after making a research i found much better organic products that does not contain any kind of "paraben" which is really bad for your skin and your health.

It does minimize my fine lines a little bit but it doesn't moisturize well. Hence, it cannot work alone, you must top it with good moisturizer. I have problem with consistency too. When the jar is new the consistency is ok but when there's only little product left on the jar, it will left white residues when it is used and the performance is not as good. I've used 2 jars and I don't think I will buy this again

I hate this one. It didn't help my darkcircles as the BA promised and made my undereye areas feel burning everytime I applied. It always had some white leftouts on my skin no matter how less I used it. I've sticked on it for half a year telling myselft be patient to see the change in a long run. But nothing happened. So I threw the left half jar away. Packaging is bad too. Like some very cheap stuff in dollar stores. Not worth the high price. Won't buy it again definitely.

Very disappointing! This is expensive by Body Shop standards. It does not absorb well and leaves a white residue around my eyes. I used it for about 3 months, then stopped because my eyes were thirsting for something more effective. Last time I dropped into the Body Shop, I commented to the salesperson that I didn't like the cream and she said that many people have complained. Regardless of your age or needs, I really would NOT recommend this product.

Got suckered into buying this in Vancouver when I saw it in Elle magazine Beauty Awards, and after months of using it I don't think there's any difference. Product feels like it sits on top of my skin, and casts a slight whitish tinge. I will finish this up, but will never buy again.

amazing product! I'm in my early 20's and have just started to notice lines forming under my eyes, I picked this stuff up, kinitin is an antioxidient and it also have shea butter, VERY moinsturizing! I use this cream at night and have noticed the texture of my skin has improved and the lines are less noticable, I love this stuff! A little pricey tho, $28 CAN

This eye cream from the Body Shop was a huge disappointment to me. I have been using it for a couple of months and have not noticed a difference. It says that it is suppose to give the eye area a smoother, more refined texture. The only thing I like about it is that is is very moisturizing which is good because my under my eyes it's very dry. This stuff comes in a pot and and has .4 oz. It was expensive for an eye cream, I think around $35.00? I will use this up and then won't repurchase.
